Warranty Manager
Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Warranty Manager with the Singer team will be responsible for the overall development and implementation of the Singer Global Warranty program. This dynamic position requires the ability to coordinate feedback and data received from the After Sales team to collate the data into actionable feedback. The goal is to manage, plan, develop crucial processes related to Singers Warranty and ongoing Technical Support in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.”
Essential Functions
- Analyze and report to the executive team data analytics as they relate to Service, Warranty and Quality repairs.
- Develop a global Service solution that captures, stores, and sorts all aspects of warranty data.
- Create a weekly meeting agenda to advise Quality and Production on found issues complete with photos, videos and any relevant technical data that can be used for continuous improvement.
- Write and implement a Warranty Policy and Procedure manual for global use.
- Forecast Goodwill reserve formula based off previous use data for finance teams.
- Prepares and administers an annual Warranty budget (reserve) for the Service and Finance departments.
- Monitors the performance of the Service department using appropriate reports, tracking systems.
- Works in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrates the ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals.
- Ensures that customers’ service files are up-to-date and readily available for reference.
- Monitors technicians’ daily productivity reports and advise on efficiencies.
- Must be able to manage team members and grow department as required.
- Assists other team members as necessary.
- Assists in special projects as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and/or Experience
- Seven (7) plus years of related work experience in an automotive warranty booking data analytics or warranty management with a recognized OEM.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of leadership or management
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced flexible automotive shop environment
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Experience with Salesforce, CRM Software’s
- Five plus (5 ) years technical training in automotive industry or equivalent brand industry preferred
- Prior experience in rapid growth business environment
Compensation
The starting salary range for this position is between $111,600 - $139,500 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
