- This is a dynamic position that requires the ability to create and manage project timelines while driving improvement in all areas with a focus on safety, quality, cost, and delivery with little guidance from Management.
- You will be a major contributor in defining manufacturing planning templates, own process definition, quality standards and cost reduction initiatives. You will also be responsible for creating lean part flow through production resources and implementing these resources in a new facility.
What You’ll Do:
- Initiate and lead the development and optimization of Engineering projects such as cost savings, new processes, etc.
- With a high degree of independence, define and implement general assembly inline or end-of-line vehicle process requirements in collaboration with vehicle design, software, and integration teams in preparation for new product launches
- With a high degree of independence, identify, plan, and execute capital equipment, machine, and layout upgrades to meet production demand
- Create and manage manufacturing BOMs, work instructions, and specifications
- Develop and maintain manufacture and test planning for processes, products, and integration
Who We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing)
- Eight (8) years in a similar role
- Good understanding of BOMs, manufacturability, process design, process validation, assembly methods, design reviews and cost reduction methodologies
- Demonstrated results with lean principles, VSM, 5S, etc.
- Root Cause and Corrective Action experience
Location & Schedule:
This position is onsite in Torrance, CA. It is a salaried role, but the general schedule is 6am-2:30pm.

The starting salary range for this position is between $117,386 - 156,515. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
