Why You’ll Love This Role:
- Monitor production milestones in coordination with Master Scheduling and Operations in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.”
- The role requires strong communication skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide visibility and drive action in order to support Singer’s operational goals and provide high-quality production to our customers.
- Ensure materials, tooling, and equipment are released and available to meet production schedule
- Facilitate the capacity management process, including identification and escalation of long-term capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP
- Performsescalated expediting when required to ensure on time delivery of materials
- Pioritize work orders and actions to ensure deadlines and milestones are met
- Identifies critical material deliveries and ensure program requirements are prioritized though the supply chain as well as internal efforts (i.e., receiving, inspection and stockroom, internal processing)
- Identify and implement improvements in production control processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in production control and/or scheduling
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in manufacturing and/or technical administration processes
- Strong computer skills, proficient in the full suite of MS Office, ERP/MRP systems
