The Field Service Technician role is a full-time, remote position responsible for delivering on-site service and technical support to Sinclair customers. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Sinclair labeling equipment. The technician will provide training and guidance to customers, ensure optimal equipment performance, and maintain detailed service records. Collaborating with the broader service team, this role requires frequent travel to customer locations within a defined geographic territory.
- Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipment
- Strong technical abilities in troubleshooting and problem-solving, particularly with machinery and software systems
- Effective customer service and communication skills to provide guidance and build relationships
- Capability to manage schedules independently and travel frequently to customer locations
- Experience with tools and equipment used for installation, calibration, and maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with labeling equipment or experience in the fresh produce industry is a plus
- High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical training related to mechanics or electronics is an advantage
