WCHS/WVAH in Charleston West Virginia is offering an exciting opportunity for a 2026 Spring internship! We’re seeking an enthusiastic intern to join our WCHS News team This is an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of broadcasting. Please note, this is an unpaid internship.

Qualified candidates will have:
- Be enrolled at a four-year accredited college or university
- Qualified candidates should also be planning and preparing for a job in broadcast or digital media
- We are looking for highly motivated, dedicated students who are looking to get the most out of their internship experience
- Qualified candidates should be receiving college credit to participate in this internship, and be at least 18 years of age (credit verification forms will be provided)
- Assist with all levels of WCHS's production; including producing, directing, and shooting news.
- Answer to the show’s producer, director, or photographer depending on the day
- Learn all aspects of the broadcasting process.
