What You'll Do
- In this high-impact, viewer-focused role, you will:
- Investigate viewer complaints, consumer issues, and community concerns
- Identify trends, track down answers, and deliver solutions that make a difference
- Create, write, shoot, and edit stories for broadcast, digital, and social platforms
- Provide clear, empathetic on-air reporting that empowers audiences
- Hold businesses, agencies, and institutions accountable—fairly and accurately
- Build strong relationships with viewers and community partners
- Work closely with Producers, Editors, Anchors, & News Directors to elevate your reporting
What You Bring
- A passion for helping people and uncovering meaningful solutions
- Strong investigative instincts and the ability to follow a trail until it leads somewhere
- Experience working with newsroom systems and media production tools
- Excellent writing, research, and storytelling skills
- 5 years of experience in reporting (consumer or investigative experience a plus)
- The ability to stay organized, calm, and focused when deadlines are tight
- A commitment to accuracy, fairness, and ethical journalism
