Nursery Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Nursery Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our nursery facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, managing plant care processes, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, construction management knowledge, and familiarity with industry-specific software tools. The Nursery Supervisor will play a key role in coordinating activities to ensure efficient workflow and successful project completion.

Responsibilities

· Manage and coordinate the picking, staging, and loading of plant orders.

· Ensure all orders are accurate, properly labeled, and meet quality standards prior to shipment or customer pickup.

· Work closely with the sales or dispatch team to prioritize and schedule outgoing orders.

Qualifications

· Proven experience in plant nursery operations, landscaping, construction, or a related field.

· Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience hauling large trailers or operating heavy trucks.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

· Knowledge of plant species, horticultural practices, and nursery production methods.

· Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, loaders, or skidsteers.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
