DUTIES:
- Unit Manager will oversee nurses on the unit to ensure medications are appropriately administered, provide vaccinations and render treatment to patients
- Communicate with physicians, licensed practice nurses, radiologists, laboratory, pharmacy and other medical professionals as needed
- Collaborate with IDT Team to create and update Plan of Care for each patient
- Assist with coordination of appointments and procedures
- Update patients’ medical records as needed
- Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their families or guardians
- Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members
- Round the unit to ensure all residents clinical and psychosocial needs are being appropriately met
