Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient psychiatric and/or substance use disorder assessment and treatment to a variety of patients in multiple programmatic settings.
- Provides both initial and ongoing psychiatric evaluation to patients
- Provides psychiatric and/or substance use disorder treatment to patients.
- Coordinates care of patient with necessary resources.
- Documents all work as dictated by regulating agencies and insurance carriers
- Educates others regarding psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues and treatment. Stays abreast of current trends in field
REQUIREMENTS:
- Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in the field of Social Work, Counseling and/or Psychology
- Education - Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
- 1-3 years of previous relevant experience
- American Heart Association BLS Certification required
- LMSW/LGPC required; LCSW-C or LCPC license preferred
