REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience; 5 years of experience preferred
- Clinical background in emergency nursing
- Current employment in a hospital in Maryland ED that is designated by the EMS Board as Base Station
- Experience working with EMS systems, emergency department operations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of ED throughput metrics and regulatory standards.
- Experience working with MIEMSS or similar state EMS regulatory agencies.
- Experience leading interdisciplinary or cross-organizational initiatives without direct supervisory authority.
- BSN or higher required
- Current RN Licese in Maryland (Compact State as applicable)
- Current BLS/PALS/ACLS Certifications from the American Heart Association required
- Successful completion of a MIEMSS-approved base station course required
- Quality improvement training preferred (Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA, etc.)
