The Patient Safety Assistant is responsible for providing direct supervision and companionship to patients as a safety measure to prevent suicidal, behavioral, and medical patients from harming themselves.
SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and assigned patient.
- Must demonstrate calm, pleasant demeanor
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Preferred
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
PREFERRED CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT, PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN, OR RELATED HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE
- BLS
- CPI TRAINED
- Minimum 1 year acute hospital /healthcare setting experience.
- Must be able to complete training module prior to first assignment.

Schedule: Call/Registry/Per Diem, Nights, 11pm to 7:30 am
