Simwon NA, Corp. is a hot stamping body manufacturer located in Kyle, Texas, just 30 minutes south of Austin, TX. With its headquarters in South Korea and established subsidiaries in California and China, the Texas branch was newly established around 2022. Leveraging its expertise in hot stamping, the company is engaged in business with several leading electric vehicle manufacturers, including Tesla, and is currently looking to expand its team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Recruitment Efforts: Collaborate with hiring managers to recruit for management and hourly positions.
- Payroll & Onboarding: Support payroll processing and coordinate employee onboarding activities.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations activities, including addressing complaints, conducting investigations, and overseeing performance management.
- Compensation Evaluation: Assist in the periodic assessment of compensation structures and programs to ensure competitiveness, equity, and effectiveness within the market.
- Job Description Coordination: Work with department managers to create or evaluate job descriptions, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational needs.
- Training and Development Management: Evaluate, establish, and maintain training and development initiatives tailored to the needs of assigned business units.
- Stay Informed on HR Trends: Remain up-to-date with employment and labor laws, as well as current HR trends, to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, with a focus in Human Resources, Communication, or Pre-Law preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in hiring and onboarding processes.
- Ability to learn human resources solutions through effective information collection and analysis.
- Enhance employee performance by identifying and clarifying issues, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected strategies, and providing coaching and counseling.
Preferred
- Prior experience in working with staffing companies is a plus.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, production, or related private service organizations.
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Korean.
- Demonstrates excellent computer skills and has a high level of understanding.
