We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our Agile team in Fredericksburg VA.
This is a hybrid position allowing 2 days of telework per week applicants must live within commutable distance willing to work onsite at our Fredericksburg office Clearance An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position 3 years experience in software testing or quality assurance strong understanding of testing methodologies Experience with test case management defect tracking tools Azure DevOps Familiarity with manual testing automated testing frameworks Develop execute maintain comprehensive manual automated test cases Collaborate developers Product Owners understand application requirements translate them effective test strategies Identify document track software defects using Azure DevOps tools Perform various types functional regression integration usability performance testing Participate design discussions provide input quality approaches Maintain documentation reports progress software quality Participate Agile ceremonies Knowledge Agile methodologies participation teams Basic programming skills languages Java Python JavaScript automation Understanding RESTful APIs perform API knowledge web application UIUX best practices
