Role Description:
We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for cybersecurity to join us part-time in an on-site role. Are you looking to transition into cybersecurity from IT or have you recently completed a degree in a related field? As a Jr. Cyber Security Analyst, you will work closely with our security team to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats and provide support in securing client environments. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with IT experience or entry-level certifications looking to break into the cybersecurity field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security events and alerts using EDR and SIEM tools to detect and respond to potential threats
- Create security and alerting rules and contribute to workflow automation development
- Assist in incident response, triage, and basic threat analysis
- Support the deployment and configuration of security solutions such as
- Perform vulnerability assessments and assist with patch management processes
- Develop technology documentation and security policies
- Collaborate with the IT and cybersecurity teams to continuously improve security posture
- Stay up to date on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field
- 1-2 years of IT experience
- Certifications such as CC, CCNA, Security , CySA , SSCP, or BTL1.
- Strong understanding of networking, system administration, or IT fundamentals
- Passion for cybersecurity and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly
- Must be able to pass an NCIC background check
