Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service at the front counter or café area
• Operate square POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform basic math calculations with precision
• Assist with food preparation, food handling, and maintaining sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Upsell menu items or products to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and food prep stations by bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met
• Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks when needed, demonstrating culinary experience and teamwork skills

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurant, or retail environment is preferred
• Familiarity with square POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in cashiering, serving, or grocery store operations is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Kitchen experience or culinary background is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
