What are the responsibilities and job description for the Steel Shop Foreman position at Sims Steel Corporation?
Sims Steel is family owned and operated company that has been servicing the industry for over 55 years. we are currently looking for a shop foreman. This individual must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Individual must have experience in structural steel, rolling and bending, and misc steel. A minimum 5 years experience is required. Additionally, this individual must be able to read plans and run a crew of 10 men. Job description

- ability set det up & oversee multiple fabricators
- Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goal
- Forklift exp.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task
