Warehouse Team Leader

Sims-Lohman, a distributor of cabinets/granite for kitchens & bathrooms, has a large warehouse located near the airport in Smyrna, Tennessee. We need a hands-on leader to run the day-to-day activity of the shipping, receiving and inventory functions.
The right candidate will have the following experience:
- 3 years' experience as a working lead in a warehouse, where safety, productivity & housekeeping are priorities.
- Modern inventory management & bar coding systems, including manufacturing IT systems
- Invoicing
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate unloading and receiving trucks
- Inventory control—exterior trim
- Building and starting loads for exterior trim
- Leads and assists inbound and receiving teams
- Receiving in our system and assigning them to a warehouse location
- Invoicing product
- Changing delivery dates in our system based upon information provided by sales
- Safety and housekeeping
