Are you a detail-oriented CAD/CAM professional with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? Join Sims-Lohman, a leader in custom countertop fabrication and installation, as a Programmer. We’re looking for motivated individuals to support our operations by transforming digital templates into cutting programs that drive our production of high-quality stone products.
What You'll Do:
- Convert LT55 laser camera templates into production-ready drawings using AlphaCAM.
- Review job orders in Moraware for completeness and coordinate with account managers or techs to gather missing information.
- Generate final CAD drawings, PDFs, and CNC cut programs for shop production.
- Ensure accurate placement of seam locations, sink and cooktop cutouts, and backsplash details.
- Upload finalized documents to internal systems (Moraware and Dropbox).
What You Bring:
- 1 years of experience with AlphaCAM or AutoCAD in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular), AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, and business IT systems.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to coordinate with production and technical teams.
Work Environment:
- Office, warehouse, and fabrication shop settings.
- Occasional exposure to loud noise and varied temperatures.
- No travel required.
