What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd shift CNC Operator position at Sims-Lohman, Inc.?
Sims-Lohman is hiring high energy CNC Operators with manufacturing experience for our granite fabrication facility at our Zionsville location to operate our CNC.
Hours: 2nd Shift 2:30PM-11:00PM Monday - Friday
Responsibilities include:
- Operate CNC fabrication machinery to cut granite and quartz counter tops.
- Operate overhead crane and occasionally use forklift to empty hopper
- Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimensions
Qualifications
- 2 years' experience operating manufacturing CNC, industrial saws, and or other equipment
- 2 years' experience using overhead cranes and forklifts; this is not a forklift position.
- Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure
- Ability to work with heavyweight materials
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen; No Background Check Required.
- Ability to work overtime as needed
