A Rebar Drafter is responsible for creating detailed shop drawings based on structural and architectural drawings for rebar placement.
Their duties include:
- Produce rebar placement drawings on Microstation CAD software.
- Communication with contractors on submittals, changes, & setting delivery dates.
-Communication with shop for fabrication availability.
Skills Required:
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at one time.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read structural and architectural drawings preferred.
- Basic Word & Excel experience.
Education Requirement:
- Associate Degree or Certificate preferred in Computer Aided Design.
- On the job training provided.
