Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, analytical, and data-driven Operations Administrator to join our fast-paced team. Looking for an independent self-starter who can work with minimal oversite to learn every facet of our business and help make it grow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and thrives in an environment that demands multi-tasking, critical thinking, and proactive problem-solving. This position provides significant potential for career advancement into a management role within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily order operations for a multi-site tree nursery (Florida, Tennessee and Oregon).
- Upload and maintain product SKUs on various vendor platforms.
- Monitor inventory levels and promptly notify vendors of out-of-stock items
- Collect, analyze, and report sales and logistics data trends to management.
- Improve existing office processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Assist with project management, scheduling, and other operational duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in an office, logistics, or operations role (3PL or nursery experience a plus).
- “First one in, last one out” mentality
- Not afraid to sweat and willing to get your hands dirty (soil is after all manure)
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of comfort working with data and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with FedEx shipping module is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proactive mindset with the ambition to develop into a leadership role.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
