Schedule: Flexible shifts available Days, Nights, and Weekends
Reports to: Director of Laboratory
What You'll Do
Your role is so much more than drawing blood-you'll be the calm, reassuring presence our patients need. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting each patient with kindness, empathy, and professionalism
- Identifying patients and verifying test orders with precision
- Performing venipuncture and skin puncture techniques safely and efficiently
- Ensuring every sample is collected, labeled, and delivered accurately
- Supporting patients through the process-especially those who are anxious or afraid
- Maintaining a clean, stocked, and safe work environment
- Assisting with clerical tasks and overall lab support
What You Bring to the Team
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Compassionate, patient-first mindset
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and a calm, confident bedside manner
Preferred:
- 1 year experience in phlebotomy or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of therapeutic blood draws, drug screening, and chain of custody
- Team spirit with a flexible, can-do attitude
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, handle equipment with care, see close-up and at a distance, communicate clearly, and occasionally lift light items.
