Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support accurate installation work.
- Perform electrical wiring tasks according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and NFPA 70 compliance requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment safely to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Follow strict electrical safety procedures and safety protocol adherence at all times on construction sites or job locations.
- Support the installation of low voltage systems and complex electrical systems within residential and commercial environments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while documenting work progress accurately.
Requirements
- Previous experience electrician work is highly desirable.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints with confidence.
- Familiarity with electrical safety procedures, NFPA 70 standards, NEC codes, and low voltage systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, conduit benders, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in electrical work environments.
- Construction site experience is a plus; willingness to learn on-site safety protocols is essential.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning from experienced electricians.
