Vending Machine Operator

Position Summary

SimplySnack Delights LLC is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Vending Operator to manage and maintain vending machine locations. The Vending Operator will be responsible for stocking products, collecting cashless sales data, maintaining machine cleanliness, performing basic troubleshooting, and ensuring machines remain fully operational and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Restock vending machines with snacks, beverages, and other products according to inventory needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items.
• Ensure vending machines are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Collect and reconcile sales information using vending management software.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vending equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Load and unload products from company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and service visits.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with location managers and customers.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Assist with setting up new vending machine locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic math and recordkeeping abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous vending, delivery, retail, or route service experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and standing.
• Ability to load and unload vending products and equipment.
• Comfortable driving between multiple service locations.
