THIS IS A STAFF POSITION.

SimplyPenny is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to join our team and help us promote our services. This is a key role where you’ll get to flex both your creative and organizational skills.

Who You Are:

  • Tech-savvy: You’re proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), and Google Suite. Proficient with Canva, Constant Contact and have a strong knowledge of marketing on social media platforms and email campaigns. Website development and maintenance. Copy and video scrip writing. Reel creation.
  • Creative: Develop branding and design for multiple retreats and events.
  • Self-Starter: You’re motivated, goal-oriented, and ready to hit the ground running.
  • Master Communicator: You’ve got top-notch communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Your organizational skills are second to none, and you never miss a beat.
  • Flexible: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and love solving problems with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate Leads:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and post-event follow-up.

Marketing & Social Media:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engage followers, and drive traffic to a website
  • Email marketing design and implementation (including sales funnels).
  • Create content for reels.
  • Storytelling content.
  • Design marketing materials like advertisements for social media.
  • Monitor Google leads (including PPC and LSA advertising) and actively contact new leads.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure all marketing efforts align with SimplyPenny’s branding.
  • Optimize content for SEO to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for future events.

Apply if You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
  • 3 years of proven experience in event coordination, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (e.g., Google Docs, Sheets, Forms).
  • Proficiency with website development and maintenance.
  • Excellent marketing skills, with the ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Experience with email marketing.
  • Strong social media marketing skills, with the ability to create engaging content and manage social media campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed for events, including evenings or weekends.

MUST HAVE:

  • Experience in the travel sector, or mental health services.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems.
  • A knack for working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to work under deadlines on multiple projects.
