Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server with personality being a must ,to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. We were voted one of the 7 best seafood restaurants in the OC and recognized as the best Fish & Chips in all of the OC. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet Guests at their table
- Highlight our menu and specials
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the TOAST POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and dietary restrictions.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience which includes prebussing throughout the experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing outstanding hospitality.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
