About the Job
SimplyApply is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Aitkin, Minnesota. As a COTA, you will work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to provide high-quality patient care in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care setting, and assisted/independent living environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients with varying degrees of disability or illness
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and interventions to help patients achieve their goals
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- MN licensure (or eligibility)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
