We train our IOP Program employees in the Safe and Sound Protocol, STARR Commonwealth Trauma Programs, Polyvagal Theory, Basic DBT Modality, and Resilience Based Therapies.
Position Overview: Qualified Professional (QP)
Simply Teens Outpatient is currently seeking a part time PRN/Qualified Professional (QP) with experience working with teens and families to support our clinical team. This role works closely with licensed therapists and the Clinical Director to assist with day-to-day program operations, group facilitation, and client support within our adolescent programming. This position will be an as needed position with a minimum of 3 working days per month.

What the job entails:
- Support day treatment and IOP therapists with assessing client appropriateness for groups
- Assist with orienting clients to program rules, structure, and expectations
- Facilitate and co-facilitate groups under clinical direction
- Build positive, trusting rapport with adolescent clients
- Identify community resources and assist with referrals to outside providers as needed
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation; submit all group notes by the next business day
- Follow all safety protocols, HIPAA standards, and confidentiality requirements, including ROIs
- Consult with other professionals, providers, or emergency departments on behalf of clients
- Participate in weekly clinical case consultations and required trainings
- Assist with quality assurance, administrative tasks, and practice support as assigned
- Initiate new groups as needed to meet community and client needs
- Assist with outreach and marketing efforts; build connections with outside organizations
- Serve as a positive role model for clients and student interns

Education, Experience, and Availability Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, or a related field
- At least 1 year of group facilitation and/or teen/child-related experience
- At least 2 years of experience working with the mental health population
- Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per, with week opportunity to increase hours based on program needs
- Willingness to participate in trainings, consultations, and team meetings
