Simply Social with Toria is seeking a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented Content Shoot Assistant to support on-location content creation for small businesses across the Capital Region. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, brand storytelling, and visual content production.
As a Content Shoot Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring shoots run smoothly from start to finish. You will assist with behind-the-scenes logistics, help execute creative direction, and support in capturing high-quality photo and video content that aligns with each client’s brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist during on-site content shoots for various small businesses and brands
- Support setup, styling, and breakdown of shoot environments
- Help capture photo and video content (iPhone and/or camera)
- Follow creative direction and shot lists to ensure content goals are met
- Manage props, products, and organization during shoots
- Provide general support to ensure an efficient, elevated client experience
Qualifications:
- Interest in social media, marketing, or content creation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take direction
- Organized, dependable, and punctual
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, on-location environments
- Basic knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and content trends is a plus
- Photography or videography experience is a bonus but not required
