Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation across various residential areas.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure all spaces meet health and safety standards.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents effectively to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, and appliances.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces when required, including patios or entryways.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage time effectively to complete scheduled cleaning tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
• Keep all cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies well-maintained and organized for optimal performance.
• Follow all janitorial and custodial procedures to ensure thorough sanitation across all residential areas.

Experience

• Previous experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and the use of various cleaning detergents is advantageous.
• Experience in customer service roles that involve client communication enhances your ability to meet client expectations effectively.
• Knowledge of outdoor work environments can be beneficial for maintaining exterior spaces when required.
• Demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting safely while adhering to proper ergonomic practices.
• Prior janitorial or custodial experience contributes to understanding sanitation standards and efficient cleaning routines.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
