The Lawn Care Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the health and appearance of residential and commercial lawns. Working within a small team of 1-3 technicians and reporting to the Production Manager, this position involves regular travel to multiple sites daily. The role supports both seasonal and full-year employment schedules, requiring expertise in various lawn care techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and lawn vitality.
Responsibilities
- Perform weed control to manage unwanted vegetation
- Apply fertilization treatments, including Z-spray and hose spray fertilization
- Maintain and service lawn care equipment
- Interact professionally with customers on-site
- Conduct aeration to improve soil health
- Travel to and service multiple lawn care sites daily
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years experience in lawn care or landscaping
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in lawn maintenance and equipment operation
- Knowledge of pest and weed control and plant care
- Understanding of safety procedures and time management
- Strong customer service skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks
