What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal position at Simply Green Iowa?
Simply Green is immediately hiring for snow shovelers and snow blower operators for the upcoming snow season. This position serves as a key team member to ensure our customer properties are safe and well maintained. You will work alongside our plow drivers to complete snow removal various residential and commercial properties.
Will ride with plow driver from our shop to service locations. Must have reliable transportation to and from shop location.
PAY: $20/Hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Removing snow from sidewalks, entry points, stairs, etc. via snowblower/shovel.
- Apply salt to surfaces as needed.
- Ability to use snow removal equipment such as shovels and snowblowers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical ability and stamina to lift up to 50lbs and move heavy snow.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be reliable in reporting to work.
- Ability to work outdoors during inclement weather conditions.
- Appropriate attire for winter weather.
AVAILABILITY:
- Snow events are unpredictable. Must have availability any day/any time for shifts up to 12 hours.
- Minimum of 48-hour notice will be given prior to expected "start" time.
