What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Coordinator position at Simply Dental?
Worcester Dental Arts is seeking a part-time Patient Coordinator to be a vital part of our patient-centered team. This role supports clinical excellence by ensuring every patient receives outstanding care and service from start to finish. Prior dental office experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule: Full-time: Monday through Friday from 7:45 am - 5 pm
What you will be doing:
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Greeting all patients with a warm and friendly smile
- Checking patients in and out for appointments
- Scheduling appointments for patients
- Answering phones with enthusiasm
- Picking up and organizing mail to and from office
- Assisting with patient billing processing and questions
- Organizing and filing all paperwork generated by the clinic
- Assisting clinic with seating patients and coordinating patient flow
- Keeping reception area clean and orderly at all times
- Checking and verifying patients' insurance
- Taking part in company marketing events and responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:What qualifications you bring:
- 1 year experience in a dental office is preferred
- Working knowledge of dental practice management software is preferred
- Positive energy
- Superior communication skills with the ability to establish rapport and work closely with patients and staff
