What You'll Do
As a Night Shift Plant Truck Driver, you'll play a critical role in supporting plant operations by:
- Operating dump trucks, forklifts, and other company equipment safely and efficiently
- Transporting rock, plant waste, vegetable debris, and other production byproducts throughout the facility
- Hauling and dumping frozen totes using forklift equipment
- Completing required pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
- Monitoring equipment performance and reporting maintenance needs
- Assisting with routine troubleshooting and minor repairs when needed
- Supporting various plant operations and helping where needed during the shift
- Keeping work areas and equipment clean and well-maintained
- Accurately completing required documentation and shift reports
- Following all company safety policies and DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Working closely with team members to ensure smooth overnight operations
- Helping train and mentor other team members as opportunities arise
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum six months of commercial driving experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Experience operating forklifts and dump trucks
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Experience in manufacturing, food processing, agriculture, transportation, or production environments
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment issues
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
