Job Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. The provider will conduct psychiatric evaluations, prescribe and manage medications, and collaborate with a supervising psychiatrist in accordance with Tennessee’s collaborative practice regulations.
**CANDIDATE MUST BE WILLING TO COMMUTE TO COLUMBIA, TN 4-5 Days per week.**
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications (Schedules II–V)
- Collaborate with supervising psychiatrist as per TN regulations
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR
- Participate in clinical team meetings and case consultations
Qualifications
- Active PMHNP license in Tennessee (Required)
- Active or eligible DEA license for TN (Required)
- Meets requirements for collaborative practice agreement (CPA) (Required; we assist with setup)
- Master’s or Doctorate from accredited PMHNP program (Required)
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry (Preferred, not required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and professional demeanor

Pay: $70,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
