Smart Home Technician / AV Installer
Simplicity – Smarter Homes. Simpler Living. is seeking an experienced Smart Home Technician to join our growing team. We design and install high-end residential smart home systems throughout the Kansas City area, delivering exceptional customer experiences and cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities
- Install and configure smart home systems in luxury residences
- Install televisions, speakers, projectors, AV racks, and home theater systems
- Install and troubleshoot structured wiring, networking, and Wi-Fi systems
- Program and configure smart home devices
- Read plans, wiring diagrams, and system documentation
- Perform service calls and diagnose system issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with clients and builders
Qualifications
- Experience installing residential AV or smart home systems
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
- Experience with low-voltage wiring and equipment installation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Crestron Home (strongly preferred)
- Experience with Crestron, Control4, Savant, Lutron, Josh.ai, Sonos, or similar control systems
- Networking certifications or experience with enterprise networking
- Rack building and cable management experience

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
