Job Summary
The Product Assembler is responsible for assembling HVAC and heater products and sheet metal fabrication in a fast-paced environment, handling over 400 different assemblies designed for various vehicles worldwide. This role requires the use of hand and power tools, as well as various forms of industry-specific machinery, often while standing for long periods. Ensuring the highest quality of assembled products is paramount.
Responsibilities will include the assembly of products by following the provided work instructions, utilizing hand tools and power tools. The product assembler will be responsible for the efficient assembly of products according to established policies, procedures, and processes. Accountability for the quality of the products assembled is of the highest importance
Responsibilities
- Assembly Tasks:
· Assemble HVAC and heater units.
· Assemble hose assemblies and HVAC kits.
· Read, follow, and understand work instructions and technical drawings.
· Sheet metal fabrication.
Quality Assurance:
· Complete the quality checklist after each build to ensure product standards.
· Maintain accountability for the quality of assembled products.
Tool and Equipment Operation:
· Safely operate hand and power tools.
· Utilize various forms of machinery related to the industry.
Work Environment Maintenance:
· Clean and maintain the work area to ensure a safe and organized environment.
· Stand for long periods while performing assembly tasks.

Experience
- 2 years of experience as an assembler.
- Computer literacy, Microsoft Office (Word and e-mail).
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams.
- Strong focus on accuracy and quality in assembling products.
- Commitment to following established policies, procedures and processes.
- Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability for product quality.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Willing and able to follow specific instructions.
- Knowledge of appropriate methods and the tools required in various assembly processes.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with a half-hour unpaid lunch.
Wage: $18.00 per hour
