Simplex Homes is one of the Northeast's leading modular home manufacturers, delivering high-quality custom homes to homeowners and builders throughout the region. We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Entry-Level Modular Home Sales Consultant to join our growing sales team.
What You'll Do
- Meet with prospective homeowners & builders
- Educate customers on the benefits of modular construction and the Simplex building process.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads from phone calls, website inquiries, model home visits, and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders.
- Prepare sales proposals, estimates, and purchase agreements.
- Coordinate with drafting, production, and service to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
- Attend home shows, community events, and open houses as needed.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and stay current on industry trends.
Qualifications / Preferred Skills
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous home construction and/or modular building experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning CRM software.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and Saturdays based on customer appointments, including some overnight travel.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
