SimpleCITI is hiring a Real Estate Underwriting Associate to support acquisitions and investment decisions across our portfolio. The ideal candidate is analytical, fast-moving, and confident underwriting commercial assets.
Core Responsibilities
- Underwrite industrial real estate deals using Excel and internal tools
- Analyze rent rolls, lease terms, expenses, and market comps
- Evaluate off-market and brokered opportunities for acquisition fit
- Summarize key deal assumptions and risks for internal review
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date underwriting pipeline
- 2–5 years of experience in real estate underwriting or acquisitions
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
- Understanding of industrial lease structures, NOI, cap rates, and valuation
- Detail-oriented, efficient, and responsive to high-volume deal flow
- Experience with Argus
- Familiarity with CoStar, Yardi, or RealNex
- Exposure to off-market deal sourcing or industrial brokerage
