What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Processor position at SimpleBridge Lending?
ABOUT THE ROLE
SimpleBridge Lending is a private money lender specializing in short-term, interest-only business-purpose loans — fix-and-flip, ground-up construction, and bridge financing. We’re looking for a detail-obsessed Loan Processor to own files from assignment through funding and close-out, keeping deals moving cleanly across Processing, Underwriting, and Closing.
This is a coordination-heavy role — the connective tissue between borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, closers, and third-party vendors. If you like tight systems, clean handoffs, and catching problems before they become fire drills, you’ll do well here.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage the full loan processing lifecycle from start to finish
- Order and track all third-party services
- Review incoming documents against our standards and flag discrepancies to underwriting before submission
- Move files through each loan stage as triggers are met, and keep the team aligned via Slack
- Draft and deliver document and vendor communications and maintain consistent follow-up cadence on all open items
- Coordinate closing process with borrowers and escrow companies
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in loan processing, or a related field with transferable skills
- Working knowledge of loan documents, title/prelim review, entity structures (LLCs, corps, foreign entities), and insurance requirements
- Comfort with LOS platforms, Box or similar document management, and Excel-based tracking
- Sharp eye for detail
- Strong organizational and follow-up discipline; you don’t let items sit
- Clear, professional communication across borrowers, vendors, and internal teams
NICE TO HAVE
- Familiarity with fix-and-flip and DSCR loans
- Familiarity with title documents and the title process
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
