Wabash Valley Produce is currently seeking Day and Night Shift Dryer Operators to join our team at our egg drying facility in Zanesville, Ohio. If you are dependable, safety-minded, and take pride in producing quality products, we would love to hear from you!
What You Will Do
As a Dryer Operator, you will play a vital role in our production process by operating and maintaining equipment while ensuring product quality and food safety standards are met.
Responsibilities may include:
· Perform pre-operational inspections of equipment and production areas during startup.
· Monitor the fermentation process and transfer products to holding tanks.
· Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and maintain food safety standards.
· Complete all production logs and documentation accurately.
· Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all company safety procedures.
· Perform basic quality testing, including pH and moisture analysis.
· Provide support for other shift operations as needed.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work in a sanitary environment while preventing cross-contamination.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
