Your role
Simple Title Closing & Escrow is looking for a full-time, experienced, Associate Attorney to join our office in Haverhill, Massachusetts. This position will review and address title issues, negotiate purchase and sale agreements, act as an escrow agent and provide representation at the closing table. - Develop relationships with current clients
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
- Draft and review legal documents related to real estate transactions and title insurance policies
- Provide legal guidance and support to clients and colleagues on title issues
- Manage customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Promote the company's product/services addressing client objectives
- Conduct closing transactions
- Stay up to date on relevant laws, regulations and trends affecting title services and real estate transactions
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree & member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar
- 3-5 years experience in real estate or title services drafting, reviewing & negotiating legal documents, conducting closings
- A current client base and/or strong desire to build a client base with guidance from senior management
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong project management skills
- Strong knowledge of title examination procedures and title insurance
