Job Description
Simple Speech Therapy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist or SLPA who is looking for a part-time, after school hours caseload to join our team in either our ChampionsGate clinic or Horizon West clinic. This motivated individual should have the desire to grow a caseload to the number of clients that fits your schedule and demonstrates the ability to create lasting relationships with clients and their families. This position can be from 2-5 days per week, which is completely up to the candidates choosing.
Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist will have the following responsibilities:
- Evaluate, develop and implement treatment plans to address speech and language deficits.
- Maintain accurate documentation and write reports detailing initial evaluation, progress, treatment and discharge information.
- Monitor patients progress continually and adjust treatment plans when needed.
- Educate patients and their families on speech related topics.
- Meets with families and Simple Speech Therapy staff as needed.
Requirements
- Active Florida SLP license and Certificate Of Clinical Competence (CCCs) or SLPA license
- Strong clinical skills and passion for working with children and families
- Comfortable working independently in a private clinic setting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred
Experience
SLPs or SLPA's with more than 1 year of professional experience are welcome to apply
