The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a skilled technician with proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of modern low-voltage systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Low-Voltage Cabling: Performing cable rough-in, termination, testing, and comprehensive documentation for low-voltage cable systems (e.g., CAT5/6, Coax).
- Infrastructure Build-out: Building out Main Distribution Frames (MDF) and Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDF), including installing racks, patch panels, wire managers, and network electronics.
- Equipment Installation & Configuration: Installing and performing on-site configuration and setup for a wide range of equipment, including:
- Security Systems: Alarm Systems, Access Control, Fire, and CCTV Equipment.
- Network Hardware: Computer terminals, DVRs, NVRs, and wireless RF units (e.g., Wi-Fi Access Points).
- Licensing: Must possess a Current EL-06 License in good standing.
- Compliance: Must have a Valid Driver's License, maintain a good driving record, and be able to successfully Pass Drug and Background checks.
- Experience in a Lead Technician role is preferred, but not strictly necessary.
- Basic PC configuration skills (e.g., setting IP addresses, pinging equipment, circuit testing).
- Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE).
