Account Executive (Remote) Job Description
Simple Helix is looking for a remote Account Executive to join our sales team. The Account Executive is responsible for both adding new customers (new logos) and managing contract renewals (the relationship) on their existing customers. This role’s success will primarily be measured by new customer acquisition and execution of new contracts, and their variable compensation will be measured primarily against goals aligned to those results. The ideal candidate will be located in Nashville, TN and be focused on new accounts in the broader Nashville area; however, there are no defined territory restrictions.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting new customers, cross-selling to and renewing existing customer contracts and developing relationships with partners to help expand the business.
- Proactively reaching out to prospects via phone, email, social media, and in person.
- Managing customer relationships to ensure that we retain, renew, and expand our relationships with existing customers.
- Supporting corporate activities such as hosting customers in the office for briefings and tours, trade shows, and industry events.
- Collaborate with company executives, sales and operations department to ensure that the efforts of the organization are aligned.
- Updating activity and pipeline development and opportunities in Halo.
- Making a quarterly visit to our office located in Huntsville, AL to meet with sales team and leadership.
Background Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years field sales experience
- Experience in the Information Technology field
- Experience leveraging social media in a professional capacity is preferred
- Proficient with key software packages including, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM softwares.
- Located in the Nashville, TN area.
