Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment with precision and care.
- Perform laundry washing, textile cleaning, dry cleaning, and sanitation processes according to established safety standards.
- Handle materials safely using push carts and manual handling techniques to transport linens, garments, and other textiles.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety standards in production environments.
- Assist with garment care by inspecting textiles for damage or stains and sorting items appropriately for different cleaning methods.
- Ensure proper use of laundry detergents and chemicals while following safety protocols to prevent contamination or accidents.
- Support customer service efforts by ensuring timely processing of laundry services for hotel or hospitality clients, maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry services, textile cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and proper handling of laundry detergents and chemicals.
- Ability to operate garment care machines such as industrial washers and dryers efficiently.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, pushing carts, and manual handling throughout shifts.
