Duties
- Supervise and mentor behavior technicians delivering ABA therapy, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and clinical protocols
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on data collection and client progress
- Oversee data collection processes to track behavioral progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate effective communication
- Provide training and ongoing education to staff on behavioral health best practices, medical terminology, and documentation standards
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure high standards of patient care and safety
Experience
- Must be enrolled In Masters Degree program In ABA
- Proven experience in behavioral therapy, specifically applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of special education principles and behavioral health practices
- Familiarity with medical documentation, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance
- Strong skills in data collection, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation
- Prior experience supervising clinical staff or behavior technicians is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Background in working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health challenges is highly desirable
