Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Coaching
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of inside sales representatives to consistently achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals
- Conduct regular call coaching, deal reviews, and performance feedback sessions
- Set clear expectations, track KPIs, and hold team members accountable to results
- Foster a high-energy, competitive, and collaborative sales culture
- Carry and achieve an individual sales quota through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and deal closing
- Model best-in-class sales behaviors, messaging, and objection handling
- Maintain a strong pipeline and accurate forecasts within CRM
- Partner with sales leadership to execute inside sales strategy and territory plans
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Implementation teams to ensure smooth handoffs and customer experience
- Identify trends, skill gaps, and process improvement opportunities to increase conversion rates and efficiency
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and ramping new inside sales talent
- Assist in building scalable sales processes and playbooks as Simpay continues to grow
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in payments, fintech, SaaS, or a high-velocity sales environment
- 1–3 years of sales leadership or team-lead experience, ideally in a player-coach capacity
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas
- Strong coaching skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and retain top performers
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Consistent achievement of personal and team revenue targets
- Improved close rates, pipeline quality, and sales execution across the team
