Inside Sales and Marketing Representative

SIMONSWERK North America, in Whitewater, WI, is currently seeking an Inside Sales and Marketing Representative. This is a full-time, entry level role ideal for a highly motivated person with a desire for career growth. As an Inside Sales and Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for providing both sales and marketing support to our distributors, architects, specifiers, and interior designers as well as our sales management team. You also will be an integral part of managing daily office needs along with general administrative activities and collaboration across departments. The candidate should have availability between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with the ability to work onsite.

Sales Support Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary support to the sales team, distributors, and end users both through phone and email communications
• Process customer orders including stock checks, lead time, and pricing
• Order invoicing
• Create quotes based off RFQs as well as quote tracking and reporting
• Manage return requests and process credit notes
• Review and processing of backorders
• General office responsibilities including filing, managing office supplies, preparing meeting spaces, etc.
• Provide support to other departments (shipping, accounting, HR) as needed

Marketing Support Responsibilities

·         Assist in pre-trade show planning including coordinating booth set up, marketing materials, hotels and staff meals

·         Manage post-trade show leads

·         Provide marketing sales support through sending samples and brochures

·         Manage Continuing Education reporting and certificates

·         Support the Regional Marketing Manager with additional tasks as needed

Requirements

• Completed Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Experience with customer service or administrative tasks
• Marketing experience
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient data entry skills
• Strong organizational, detail oriented and analytical skills
