Role Description The Physician Account Representative is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bolingbrook, IL, with a mix of on-site visits to physician offices and some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for managing and growing relationships with referring physicians and their staff, ensuring they receive timely support, information, and education on SimonMed’s imaging services. Daily tasks include visiting provider offices, responding to inquiries, resolving service issues, coordinating with internal teams to address scheduling or report concerns, and tracking referral patterns. The Physician Account Representative will present new services and technologies, deliver training on ordering processes and tools, and support marketing efforts and outreach campaigns. The role also includes monitoring account performance, preparing activity reports, and identifying opportunities to enhance satisfaction, increase referrals, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Strong account management skills, including maintaining physician relationships, monitoring account performance, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Proven customer service abilities to respond promptly to inquiries, resolve issues, and support clinical office staff in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for meetings, presentations, follow-up emails, and coordination with internal teams.
- Experience in sales or business development, with the ability to present services, influence referral patterns, and meet growth targets.
- Ability to deliver effective training to physician offices on ordering processes, systems, and best practices.
- Familiarity with healthcare or diagnostic imaging environments is preferred.
- Proficient in using CRM tools, basic office software, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the Bolingbrook, IL region.
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a hybrid model (on-site and remote).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
